The barn boasts four modern restrooms for the comfort of your guests and a comprehensive list of trusted vendors to ease your planning process. This Booking Includes:

  • Site Tour: Before and after booking, couples can tour the grounds and peruse on-site available decorations, also 7 options of floor plans will be provided for you to choose from for your layout. Also included is a designated date to be scheduled a few months before your big day to browse our extensive catalog of rentable decorations we have on hand
  • Setup Time: Access for decoration setup and drop-offs from Friday 10am to 5pm.
  • Arbor Ceremony Site: This beautifully rustic view overlooking the extending acreage is included at no extra cost with your venue rental as well as the ceremony chairs that are set up by our staff on hand.
  • Indoor Ceremony: If inclement weather happens, we do have a day of option that can be changed to an indoor ceremony option as well as an indoor ceremony arbor available included
  • Rehearsal Dinner: Available on Friday from 5:30pm to 8pm (additional $250.00 fee).
  • Wedding Day: Full day access on Saturday from 8am to 10:30pm for the ceremony, reception, dinner, dancing, and photos.
  • Sunday Pickup: Option to pick up personal belongings by 12noon on Sunday in a designated area (if not taken the night before)
  • Seating and Tables: 8ft rectangle banquet tables, chairs, sweetheart and/or head tables provided.
  • Farmhouse Tables: Available for food & appetizers, desserts & gifts.
  • Rehearsal Walkthroughs: Included for ceremonies & bridal party line-ups.
  • Photo Opportunities: Access to all 8 acres & grounds for photography.
  • Bridal and Groom Suites: Full access starting Friday night, including two refrigerators for bridal party use

This Booking Includes:

Welcome to the Groom’s Room, where history and heritage blend seamlessly with comfort and camaraderie. Once serving as the old milking parlor, this space has undergone a remarkable transformation to become the ultimate pre-ceremony haven for the groom and his groomsmen. Our 2020 renovation has reimagined what was once the bridal suite into a sanctuary of relaxation and entertainment, perfectly tailored for your special day.

Boasting private access to its very own patio, the Groom’s Room offers a serene spot to gather thoughts and share a toast before meeting your bride at the altar. The room’s design features a stunning reclaimed wood wall, adding warmth and character to your preparations. For a touch of playful competition, engage in a game of darts or shoot some hoops with the basketball setup, designed to ease any pre-wedding jitters.

The centerpiece of the room is a piece of the barn’s own history—a blueprint from its original construction in 1862, discovered hidden within the walls during renovations. This remarkable find connects the past with the present, making the Groom’s Room not just a place to get ready, but a space to reflect on the journey that led to this momentous day.

What is the guest capacity for weddings at The Wingate Barn?

Our barn warmly welcomes up to 200 guests for a beautifully seated event complete with a dance floor. If you opt to forego the dance floor, we can accommodate around 240 guests, ensuring everyone is part of your special day.

Do you offer a military discount?

Absolutely! In gratitude for your service, we offer discounts on both our full wedding package and our micro wedding package to active military members or veterans. It’s our way of saying thank you to those who’ve served.

Is your venue pet-friendly?

Yes! Your furry friends are more than welcome to join in the celebrations. We understand how important they are to you, which is why we also offer recommendations for exceptional pet sitting services to ensure they enjoy the day just as much as you do.

Does the venue cost include day-of coordination?

While the venue cost does not include day-of coordination, the owners are here to offer guidance with vendors and setup. Additionally, we recommend the exceptional services of Events With Selina and/or Got Your Six Wedding Planning, LLC for everything from day-of coordination to full event styling, ensuring your vision comes to life effortlessly.

Do you offer virtual tours for out-of-state couples?

For those who can’t visit us in person, we happily offer virtual tours via Facetime or Zoom. It’s a great way to get a feel for the venue from the comfort of your home.

What do your bridal suites offer?

Our bridal and groom’s suites are thoughtfully appointed with all the comforts you need, including heating for cooler months, to ensure a relaxed and enjoyable preparation experience.

Are there on-site accommodations?

While we don’t offer on-site accommodations, our Recommendations page lists lovely nearby lodging options, all within a short 15-20 minute drive, ensuring you and your guests have a comfortable stay.

Can we choose our own catering service?

Yes! We are proud to offer catering services for every couples budget. We have hand selected a handful of preferred catering services for you to choose from with both high standards & quality of service in mind. Checkout our Recommendations page for our preferred list of catering services offered!

Do you offer venue tours year-round?

Yes! We’re delighted to show you around The Wingate Barn throughout the year, weather permitting. Please note, we winterize the barn in November, so heating may be limited during off-season tours.

What is your event season?

Our event season typically runs from May to October. However, we’re excited about the possibility of extending these dates to offer more flexibility for your wedding planning.

How many weddings do you host per weekend?

To ensure each wedding receives the attention it deserves, we offer Friday & Saturday wedding rentals, with our exclusive Micro wedding packages available for a one-day rental on Sundays.

Are decorations included with the venue rental?

During your tour, you’ll notice some beautiful decorations that are included with the venue. For additional styling needs, we offer a wide range of decor items available for rent from our extensive catalog.

Are there bathrooms available on-site?

Yes, we provide four bathrooms in the reception area upstairs for your guests’ comfort, along with a private bathroom in the bridal suite downstairs.
